Funkin Cocktails launch new Spiced-Rum Zombie RTD Nitro can

Funkin Cocktails has announced the launch of its Spiced Rum Zombie Nitro ready-to-drink can, a new addition to the brand’s renowned Nitro range.

With rum now in 37.6 per cent of cocktails by share of serve and spiced rum driving the sub-category, growing +53 per cent in April-June 2020, there is evidently an increasing appetite for the spirit. Funkin Cocktails’ new Spiced Rum Zombie flavour appeals directly to this growing group of UK consumers, with products available now.

The premium drink features rum mixed with a blend of pineapple, orange, lemon and lime, and a hint of spice. The 200ml Funkin Nitro can range is infused with nitrogen, improving the consistency of the drink, enhancing the aromatics of the cocktail and adding a sumptuous foam head, just like it’s been expertly shaken in a cocktail shaker.

Aligning with current consumer trends has been key to the success of Funkin Cocktails in recent years, consequently positioning the brand as the UK’s number one RTD cocktail brand. With the Zombie cocktail debuting at ninth place in the UK’s top 10 most popular cocktails in 2019 and climbing up to seventh place in 2020, Funkin Cocktails is confident the drink will continue to rise in popularity this summer.

“We’re really excited to be growing our award-winning Nitro can range, with the addition of the UK’s fastest growing Top 10 cocktail,” said Ben Anderson, Funkin’s Marketing Director. “Arriving just in time for summer, consumers can enjoy our new launch, a spiced rum Nitro can cocktail, in the comfort of their own homes, gardens or parks.”
