Doghouse Distillery introduces British aperitivo Doppelgänger

Independent distiller Doghouse Distillery has introduced its very own aperitivo, ‘Doppelgänger’ (20% ABV) to its ever-growing portfolio of unique spirits.

The latest product launch from the Battersea-bred distillery is available now in a 70cl and 5cl bottle format on Master of Malt, The Whisky Exchange, the Doghouse Distillery website as well as selected wholesalers and premium retailers.

The drink is a British take on popular Italian aperitivos. Doppelgänger’s standout packaging, along with its flavour profile of citrus, rosella (hibiscus), mountain roots and herbs, creates a delicious bitter-sweet flavour perfect for enjoying on sunny afternoons.

With the spritz focused ‘aperitivo hour’ continuing to grow in popularity, the distillery said Doppelgänger is perfectly placed to capitalise on this burgeoning trend, disrupting the category with its vibrant liquid, made from scratch in London.

“At Doghouse we believe drinks come into their own during specific times and occasions and there is no better example than the aperitivo,” commented Braden Saunders, founder of Doghouse Distillery.

“Doppelgängeris the perfect spirit for kick-starting your afternoon or evening with good friends and great music. We’re really happy with the outcome of the latest addition to our portfolio – the liquid’s bold look and taste will provide people with a new high-quality English made spritz serve, to be enjoyed in the garden, next to the pool, by the river, at a picnic in the park. With summer on its way, it seems about time to crack open a bottle and ‘Unleash your Doppelgänger’!”
