Dairylea unveils new name for Lunchables range

Leading processed cheese brand Dairylea has announced the launch of a new and improved recipes for its Lunchables range under the new name Lunchers, to align the product with the rest of the portfolio which includes Dunkers, Snackers and Filled Crackers.

Perfect for families looking for quick and convenient snacks, Lunchers can be packed for easy out-of-home consumption on busy days. With tasty snackable crackers, delicious Dairylea cheese and Ham or Chicken options, the packs are a good source of protein and calcium with no artificial colours or flavours.

“We’re so excited to be rolling out new Lunchers, which gives us the valuable opportunity to add a refresh to the offering that we’re putting out to retailers and consumers alike. The new packs will have an improvement on our previous recipe, containing less salt and saturated fat, while still being a good source of calcium and protein and maintaining the same great taste and quality as our other Dairylea products,” Ria Rianti, senior brand manager at Mondelēz International, said.

“The Dairylea range has been trusted by parents to deliver tasty and convenient cheese snacks for over 70 years, with an incredible 91 per cent brand awareness. Snacking Cheese has been a key driver of category growth over the last number of years, adding £56m since 2020, and Dairylea has contributed significantly to this growth through performance on our core range and innovation.

“We would recommend retailers to give Lunchersa prominent position in chillers to make the most of the launch,” Rianti added.
