    Concha y Toro launches new Vina Maipo packaging

    Vina Maipo, the popular Chilean wine brand, has announced a brand-new look for its bottles from March. The brand, named after the legendary Chilean Maipo valley, sells over 8 million bottles worldwide and has been a mainstay of impulse and other UK drinks retail for many years.

    Under the new design, the white wines have white labels rather than their current dark ones, and there are coloured closures for each variety to add standout on shelf and make the range easier to find.

    “The Vina Maipo range is seen as a really reasonably priced, trustworthy collection of wines, and we wanted to give the bottles a refresh, keeping the classic look and a fresher, contemporary feel,” explained Senior Brand Manager Heather Jones. “We’re confident the new design will continue to build rate of sale for the Maipo wines across the convenience channel and also in the multiple grocers.”

    The Vina Maipo range in the UK comprises Chardonnay / Pedro Jiminez, Sauvignon Blanc / Pedro Jiminez, Merlot and Syrah.

    They are available in SPAR, Bargain Booze, Nisa and Sainsbury’s, among other retailers.
