    Clearspring launches Vegan Organic Japanese Yuzu Ponzu

    Leading Authentic Japanese and Organic Foods brand Clearspring has added a new seasoning to its range: Clearspring Organic Yuzu Ponzu.
    Clearspring Yuzu Ponzu is made with real Japanese Yuzu juice.
    Yuzu is a citrus fruit that has been used in Japanese cooking for over a thousand years.
    It has a complex flavour profile often described as a blend of lime, lemon, grapefruit and mandarin.
    Clearspring’s Organic Yuzu Ponzu marries the taste of this Japanese speciality with the savoury-sweet flavour of naturally brewed soy sauce, sweet mirin and rice vinegar. The result is an umami-rich condiment and seasoning perfect for any chef, kitchen and dining table.
    Clearspring’s Organic Yuzu Ponzu is also 100% vegan.
    The fish stock commonly used in Ponzu has been replaced with the plant-based flavour of umami-rich Kombu seaweed.
    All the ingredients used are natural, organic and non-GM.
    Maria Dawson, Director at Clearspring said: “Our Organic Yuzu Ponzu has been some time in the making. We wanted to ensure we captured the authentic taste of Japanese Ponzu, whilst making it plant-based and accessible to all.
    “There is a huge international focus on Japan this year. With the launch of this new Organic Yuzu Ponzu, we want to invite even more people to try Japanese foods and ingredients and add the great taste of Japan to their mealtimes.”
    Clearspring Organic Yuzu Ponzu is available in a 150ml bottle at an RRP of £4.79.
