National Lottery retailer Tony Cristofaro was presented with a plaque as his Cardiff store has raised more than £245,000 for Good Causes to date.
Matt Ridsdale, executive director of Camelot, honoured Cristofaro at his SPAR store in Landmark Place.
Cristofaro said its is important to offer the National Lottery to his customers, given the incredible things it does for communities across the UK through Good Causes funding.
He added that it’s great for footfall and that the big jackpots are a huge draw for his store’s players which is brilliant for sales.
Each week, National Lottery players raise around £30 million for Good Causes. Over £40 billion has now been raised and more than 565,000 individual grants have been made across the UK.
