Aparthotel Birmingham gets new Nisa Local

Aparthotel Birmingham gets new Nisa Local

Switch Hospitality Management Ltd has completed the redevelopment of aparthotel Birmingham, with the opening of a new Nisa Local store.

Set in the heart of the city’s bustling business district, aparthotel Birmingham opened its doors earlier this year, and the addition of an on-site convenience store will create an enhanced guest experience. Spanning 1,200 sq. ft, the store showcases bespoke features that are in keeping with the wider aparthotel development, which boasts an industry leading design and a contemporary look and feel.

With street-level access from St Chad’s Queensway, or via aparthotel’s stylish reception and co-working area, ‘The Hub’, shoppers can browse a wide range of fresh produce, quality ingredients and everyday essentials, and pick up a hot food and drink to-go including the dedicated Costa Coffee station.

The new Nisa store will be the first in any UK aparthotel to have stock of Co-op and Costa branded items, serving both quality and convenience to its customers.

John Angus, Managing Director of Switch Hospitality Management Ltd, commented, “The final addition of an on-site shop means that guests can pick up all the essentials they might need throughout their stay, from fresh ingredients to cook a meal in their apartment, to a hot breakfast on the way to work, or their favourite branded products that have been left at home.

“It is brilliant to see the completion of this industry-leading redevelopment, which I believe perfectly demonstrates how Switch’s expertise has allowed us to deliver maximum outcomes for our clients and the gold-standard of service for our guests.”

Phil Howell, key account manager at Nisa, added, “This is such a unique opportunity to launch a Nisa store within an aparthotel complex and I’ve got full confidence this venture will be extremely successful. We share many similar values with aparthotel in terms of the quality and convenience and I’m really looking forward to seeing the growth opportunities between Nisa and aparthotel in the coming years.”
