Global spirits company Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has appointed Claire Li as Global Brand Director for Vodkas. She will head up the Group’s global flagship vodka brand, Moskovskaya, which is owned by ABG.

Claire Li has 15 years’ experience as an international marketer with a track record in leading luxury and premium consumer brands. She worked with Diageo for 10 years, most recently as Global Marketing Manager for Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky. She was Senior Brand Manager for Ketel One Vodka in Europe and so has extensive understanding of the vodka sector.

“We warmly welcome Claire to the team,” said Pepijn Janssens, ABG’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Our Moskovskaya Vodka brand has an ambitious growth target. I am confident that her experience, combined with her understanding of building long-lasting brand legacies, will help us to deliver this goal.”

Claire Li said: “I am thrilled to be joining ABG on this journey of growth acceleration for the Moskovskaya brand and I look forward to learning from the passionate and ambitious people who have been instrumental in building this impressive business. We have an exciting challenge before us to drive vibrancy back into the vodka category, with Moskovskaya at the forefront.”

Moskovskaya is a meticulously crafted vodka from Latvia, made with the highest quality ingredients and packaging materials sourced exclusively from within the European Union. With over 125 years of heritage and the recipe unchanged since 1938, Moskovskaya is one of the oldest heritage vodka brands in the world.
