Wholesaler Booker has launched a series of festive deals, including more than 40 products, fixed until 2 January.

The deals include beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks and are intended to enhance Booker’s existing promotions. They include offers on beers Stella Artois, Foster’s and Carling; wines Campo Viejo and 19 Crimes; as well as spirits Jack Daniel’s, Jameson and The Famous Grouse.

Alongside this, Booker is continuing its “Fresh 4” promotions with a series of deals on Jack’s own-brand seasonal produce. The four festive deals on carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts and potatoes are at 39p and are available in all Premier, Londis, Budgens & Family Shopper stores from 11 December until 2 January.

Until 26 January, prices will also be dropped across vape brands including Lost Mary, Found Mary, ElfBar and Ske Crystal with retailers able to earn up to a 5 per cent discount on vapes in Bookers ‘Spend & Save’ schemes.

This follows a previous price lock in October, which is also running until 2 January, across 700 catering products including vegetable cooking oil and prosecco. At the time, Booker parent company Tesco announced it would be freezing its prices on more than 1,000 products until next year.

Meanwhile, Booker has also introduced an innovative solution to assist retailers in effectively managing their social media presence, stated recent reports.

Recognizing the significance of social media for driving footfall, reaching new customers, highlighting promotions, and engaging with the local community, Booker aims to simplify social media management for busy store managers.

SocioConnect is designed as a user-friendly app that enables retailers to handle their social media content across various popular platforms from a single platform. Store managers can easily register and download the app to their phones or desktops, free of charge. With the app, retailers can track the performance of every post, enabling them to determine the most successful content and optimize future posts for maximum reach and engagement.
