The Cheeky Panda new zero-size nappies for premature babies

Sustainable personal care, baby, and beauty brand The Cheeky Panda is introducing 100 per cent bamboo-lined size 0 nappies to its award-winning range of baby nappies.

Made from gentle bamboo they offer the perfect fit for premature babies weighing under 2kg. With aqua-lock technology and a soft and stretchy waistband, these nappies have been designed to allow babies to stay dryer for longer (up to 12 hours’ protection), while allowing uninhabited movement.

Each pack of these FSC and Vegan Society certified bamboo lined, super absorbent nappies contain 20 nappies (RSP £6.99), with eight packs per case and minimal packaging to reduce waste. With eco nappies sales up 18 per cent year on year, Dave Southgate, Director of Retail, The Cheeky Panda expects shoppers commitment to buying sustainable baby and childcare products to continue

“In a world where sustainability is no longer an option but a necessity, we recognize the importance of offering products that align with the values of both retailers and consumers,” he said. “Consumers understand that the choices they make not only impact their families but also the world we all share – 41 per cent of UK parents with children under 18 years old say they are always or often influenced by how environmentally-friendly a product is.

“Our size 0 bamboo lined nappies are a testament to our dedication to producing products that are kinder to people as well as the planet. These nappies represent a conscious choice to protect both the most vulnerable among us and the environment we all depend on. By choosing our bamboo nappies, retailers and consumers alike can take a stand for a more sustainable, compassionate world.”

Any additional carbon which is emitted through the production, manufacturing and distribution is offset through our partnership to protect and preserve the vulnerable Annamite Lowland rainforest in Khe Nuoc Trong, Vietnam. Both the inner and outer packaging can be recycled (where facilities exist) and used nappies should be disposed of with general household waste.
