    Premier Exports London joins Unitas

Wholesaler and exporter of FMCG products Premier Exports London has joined Unitas Wholesale.

Formerly a Sugro member, Premier Exports London was established in 2010. It is a delivered wholesaler that supplies more than 550 international customers (95 per cent retailers), primarily with grocery, confectionery and ambient products. The business operates from a 23,000 sq ft depot and had a turnover of £47 million in the past financial year.

Kieran Samani, managing director of Premier Exports London, said, “Unitas Wholesale is the ideal strategic partner for our business to support our ambitious plans for growth. In the next year we are aiming to focus on range extension and growing our overall business by 15 per cent. We are looking forward to working with Unitas and other members within the group to achieve these goals.”

John Kinney, managing director at Unitas Wholesale, added, “We are delighted that Premier Exports London has decided that Unitas is the place to now grow their business and take it to the next level. Their business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is led by a dynamic and talented team. We look forward to supporting them on the next step of their journey.”

The new recruit takes Unitas Wholesale’s total membership to 155 businesses.

Unitas Wholesale has announced that its commercial director Aoife Kenny has left the company and will be stepping down from the Unitas board. Kenny joined Unitas in May 2022 to focus on the strategic direction for the UK’s largest independent wholesale buying group.

Unitas is pleased to also announce the appointment of Kirsty Cooper as its new commercial director. Kirsty will be joining the executive team as commercial director on Nov 13. Kirsty is currently commercial director at Acosta Europe and prior to this has held senior roles at Capri-Sun, Britvic, CCEP, Red Bull, Greene King and Ramsden International.
