Gallo Family Vineyards extend price mark labels

Following the success of its launch last year, Gallo Family Vineyards – the #2 USA wine brand in the UK – has extended price mark packaging to include its best-selling Pinot Grigio and Merlot.

Since August, Gallo Family Vineyards Pinot Grigio and Gallo Family Vineyards Merlot have been available across wholesale channels with peelable price-marked packaging to match the Gallo Family Vineyards White Zinfandel, the #5 rosé wine in the UK.

The launch of price-marked labels last summer helped achieve +18 per cent incremental volumes. The eye-catching label will increase on-shelf stand-out, helping drive sales, and create consistency across the market for consumers.

Gallo Family Vineyards Pinot Grigio is the #5 New World Pinot Grigio in the UK, and the Gallo Family Vineyards Merlot holds the highest spend per buyer across branded Merlots. Combined, the two wines sell 7 bottles every minute in the UK.

“At a time where the cost-of-living is affecting so many, it’s important to highlight our approachable price-point to both retailers and consumers. This will allow our customers to increase their rotation as well as boost their bottom-line,” says Mark Stammers, Sales Director UK & Ireland at E&J Gallo Winery.

Gallo Family Vineyards Pinot Grigio and Gallo Family Vineyards Merlot are available through Bestway Wholesale, Booker and Imperial Cash & Carry RRP £7.99. Gallo Family Vineyards White Zinfandel is available through Bestway Wholesale, Booker and Imperial Cash & Carry, RRP £5.99
