Get ‘match ready’ to win £1,000 cash with Rustlers

Rustlers is encouraging convenience retailers to get match-day ready with their latest campaign, which showcases the £106m chilled ready-meals brand’s credentials as the perfect partner for the sporting event of the season.

Throughout the tournament, Rustlers is giving shoppers the chance to “bring it home” and win one of many chances to host the ultimate in-home football party alongside a variety of other prizes. Free POS kits to promote the competition and drive sales are available to all retailers via the Rustlers trade website – helping to get the chiller “match fit”.

Retailers who take advantage of the campaign and stock up on three cases from across Rustlers’ bestselling range can also enter a prize draw to win £1,000 cash.

“At a time when we are all more aware of budget pressures, we expect to see an increase in at-home occasions with consumers coming together to enjoy a winter of sport, presenting an opportunity for retailers who can tap into this by creating meal deals targeted specifically at the occasion,” said Elaine Rothballer, Head of Marketing Consumer Brands, Kepak Foods Division.

“Rustlers meets shopper demand for tasty meal options that are quick to prepare and perfect to be enjoyed during matches – No sporting fan wants to part with the screen for too long when watching a match! Creating offers that link Rustlers with drinks, savoury sides and snacks will offer shoppers the complete meal solution that gives them the value they’re looking for.”
