PepsiCo recalls Walkers Mince Pies flavour crisps

PepsiCo has issued a recall for its Walkers Mince Pies flavour crisps because of undeclared milk.

The allergy alert warns that the product contains milk which is not mentioned on the label, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Although the product includes a precautionary allergen labelling for milk, it is not declared in the ingredients list.

The 5 x 25g multipacks of all best before date codes are affected.

Customers who have bought the product, and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, are requested to not eat it. They can call the PepsiCo customer care line on 0800 274777 to receive a full refund.

The product is safe for those without an allergy to milk or an intolerance to lactose.

PepsiCo has also contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
