Cofresh launches Thin Sev as a stand-alone snack success

In response to growing consumer demand for a “thin” version of the popular sevians (noodles) found in its best-selling Bombay Mix, Cofresh has launched ‘Thin Sev’ in handy 325g sharing bags.

Often used as an accompaniment to masala dals and chaat, or sprinkled as a crispy topping on traditional Indian dishes, Thin Sev is also a popular savoury snack served with a cold drink.

“Whilst it has long been a key ingredient in many of our Asian Mixes, this is the first time that Thin Sev has been available as a stand-alone snack,” said Jon Roberts, brand manager at Cofresh. “We know from consumer feedback that the noodles in our Bombay Mix have an almost fanatical following, so we decided to respond with a pack that contains only sev!”

Made from a combination of maize flour, gram flour and pea flour for a crunchy taste experience, and seasoned with turmeric, Thin Sev is available now with an RRP of £1 per 325g pack.
