    Highland Spring recalls 750ml sparkling spring water after manufacturing fault

    Highland Spring has on Wednesday (4 August) issued a recall notice for its 750ml glass bottle of sparkling spring water on a precautionary basis after reports of bottles being exploded due to a manufacturing fault.

    “Highland Spring Group takes its responsibilities to consumers extremely seriously and always aims to ensure the highest possible standards of product safety. We are sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this product recall may cause you,” the company said in the notice.

    • Pack size: 750ml
    • Batch codes: 1137, 1138, 1139 (Use by MAY 2023A), 1172, 1173 (Use by JUN 2023A), 1201, 1202 (Use by JUL 2023A)

    Consumers who have bought the affected product are advised to not drink it. They are also advised to avoid unnecessary handling of the product and not return it to the store, but safely dispose of the product by placing in a bag.
