Jägermeister’s Meister Hunter competition returns to physical format

Mast-Jaegermeister UK has announced its annual Meister Hunter cocktail competition which comes back to a physical format after running it fully online in 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

With the aim to celebrate the opening of the trade sector and put the spotlight on some of the most talented bartenders of the UK, the competition offers them the opportunity to win up to £3,000.

“After a difficult year, we are very excited to be able to run Meister Hunter at physical venues around the country,” said Mast-Jaegermeister UK Brand Ambassador, Florian Beuren. “This year more than ever we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the amazing talent of the UK bartenders, a collective who has certainly felt the impact of the pandemic. With the competition, we hope to inspire and give participants a platform for self-expression while providing financial support”

To enter, bartenders will have to film themselves while they create their serving and take a photo of the finished cocktail. The content will have to be uploaded to Instagram tagging @meisterhunter and @jagermeisteruk and use the hashtag #meisterhunter. Alternatively, participants can email the assets to [email protected].

The cocktail rules: The cocktail must have 25ml of Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee and up to five other ingredients. In addition, bonus points will be awarded for incorporating themes as Ice Cold, A Social Ritual, Celebrating The Moment, and Bringing People Together.

Entrants will need to agree to have their video uploaded to the @meisterhunter Instagram feed. Instant cash prizes will be available for the best photos and videos.

Entries for Meister Hunter will be accepted from 21st June until 23rd July. Six finalists will be announced on the Meister Hunter Instagram page and regional pre-final competitions will be run in London, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh.

The final planned to be in London in September with first place taking home £3,000, second place £1,000, and third place £500.
