Amacor reaches store no.14 with four-day turnaround in Bradford

Hot on the heels of opening its 13th store earlier this month, fast-growing Amacor Capital Limited has launched their next store in Bradford.

The opening of their Duckworth Lane premises in Bradford followed a fast four-day turnaround that saw the existing store cease trading, re-branded and freshly stocked with an improved range.

“We wanted to work fast to convert this store and limit the disruption to our customers, so we’re delighted to have been able to make the changes in such a short space of time,” Alex Wilson, heads of acquisitions at Amacor, said.

Previously trading as a Co-op, the 4,000 sq. ft. store situated in a busy residential area will now adorn a Nisa Local fascia, but continue to offer Co-op own-brand products together with an expanded range of Asian and Polish products.

“Our shoppers will still have access to a brilliant selection of their favourite Co-op products as well as an improved choice across other areas,” Wilson said. “Future plans include the installation of a Costa Express, Tango Ice Blast and f’real machine to complement the food-to-go offering in-store.

Established in 2018, Amacor aims to grow their portfolio of stores to 20 by the end of the year. They joined Nisa as a key account in the summer of 2019.

“Amacor is always looking for investment opportunities and this store is ideal for our business, supporting our growth strategy and keeping us on track to reach our target of 20 stores by the end of the year,” Wilson commented.
