Bestway rolls out shopping app Jisp to all stores

Bestway has announced a full technology roll-out of shopping and payment app Jisp to all its retail partners and corporate stores.

The move follows a successful trial that started in January this year.

“We are immensely excited to take our partnership with Bestway to a new level. The fact that the trial has proven to be success in such a short period of time is a great testimony to our team and the services that we provide,” commented Julian Fisher, founder and chief executive of Jisp.

Bestway has entered into a partnership with Jisp in November last year to provide the franchise and symbol partners with the opportunity to offer their customers home delivery and click & collect services as the wholesaler is continuing to invest and build customer tools in order to support retailers at a time of change and digital progression.

“We know that consumer shopping behaviours have changed in the last year, and the numbers of people who are now ordering online for Home Delivery, or Click &Collect, is still in growth with the likelihood of increased ‘stickability’ post Covid,” commented Dawood Pervez, managing director of Bestway Wholesale.

“We are delighted with the results of the pilot scheme that we unrolled with Jisp at the back end of 2020, which forms part of our commitment to our customers through supporting our retailers with service and innovation that is relevant and drives value into their business.

“Digital platforms and the application of technology is an area where we excel, and together with Jisp, we can support with an industry-leading platform that gives our retailers leading edge.”

In addition to the development and trial of the free app itself, Jisp has provided a full marketing service to those Bestway stores participating in the trial. The service includes bespoke in-store collateral and online materials to ensure retailers receive the best possible support from Bestway to promote store services, grow their current customer base, and drive loyalty.
