    Nisa launches Burns Night promotion

Nisa has provided retailers with Burns Night supper supplies to support them ahead of the popular Scottish celebration Burns Night.

As most shoppers will be celebrating by cooking a traditional Burns Night supper at home, the promotion offers retailers an opportunity to drive sales during the quieter month of January.

Available in stores until 26January, the promotion features deals including Mothers Pride Medium sliced loaf 800g at £1.30, Bells Scotch pies 4pk at £1.50, Mash Direct Neeps & Tatties 750g at £1.80, Scott’s Porridge Oats 1kg at £1.50, and a range of Baxter’s vegetarian soup tins in a variety of flavours at just 85p each.

Several Tunnock’s products are on offer with the popular brand’s Chocolate Caramel Wafers 4pk, Marshmallow Snowballs 4pk and Chocolate Teacakes 6pk included in the promotion at less than £1.20 each.

A wide range of whisky, ale, beer and soft drink options is also included at great value prices.

“With January being a naturally quieter month for retailers, and shoppers tightening the purse strings after the luxurious festive period, events like Burns Night provide pivotal opportunities to maximise sales at a time when the country is otherwise at a standstill,” commented Hannah Goodwin, seasonal manager at Nisa.
