Inventor completion winner to join Cadbury line up

Cadbury has revealed the winner of its inventor competition.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb & Nuts, formally known as Crunchy Honeycomb, will become the latest addition to join the Dairy Milk range, after winning a public vote.

The bar is created by 19-year-old Nottingham student Shannon Beech who combined milk chocolate with golden crunchy honeycomb pieces and sweet, tasty caramel-flavoured fudge, before finishing with chopped hazelnuts to add a nutty crunch to every bite.

Shannon’s winning bar has also got generous backing on its way to victory by TV personality Laura Whitmore.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb & Nuts has received anew pack design and name as the winning bar in the Cadbury Inventor 2020 competition, but shoppers can still purchase the product in stores nationwide whilst stocks last. It will return to the market from January next year.

Beatrice Berutti, tablets brand manager at Cadbury, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to reveal Shannon as the winner of our second Cadbury Inventor Competition.

“We love experimenting with different flavours, especially when we can bring our fans into the process of inventing new and wonderful creations.

“Cadbury Dairy Milk Honeycomb & Nuts mixes classic ingredients in a unique and mouth-watering way, which is just one of the reasons why it has captivated the nation.”
