Wholesale and Convenience arm of Premier Foods, one of the country’s leading food businesses, has signed an initial one-year deal to become an official partner of Lancashire Cricket club.

Premier Foods is one of the UK’s largest food producers with more than nine out of 10 households buying one or more of its products every year, with Batchelors, Bisto, Loyd Grossman, OXO, Mr Kipling and Sharwood’s amongst its family of much-loved brands.

The Premier Foods team will benefit from exclusive money-can’t-buy experiences at the home of Lancashire Cricket to engage independent retailers across the country.

The new partnership will also provide Premier Foods with access to Emirates Old Trafford to host clients at domestic and international matches throughout the 2024 season, as well as access to the Club’s players, facilities, and tickets.

Courtney Lewis, Customer Director for Discounters and Independent Wholesale at Premier Foods, said, “Cricket is a sport which is popular with many of our independent wholesale and retail customers. This partnership is an exciting opportunity to celebrate the game with them, and to offer some great cricketing prizes.”

Liz Cooper, Partnerships Director at Lancashire Cricket, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Premier Foods to the Red Rose family. “We are very much looking forward to our collaboration, initially over the next twelve months, in a partnership that has potential to be hugely beneficial for everyone involved.”
