    Nisa agrees new five-year deal with Ramsden International

    Nisa Retail said it has agreed a new five-year contract with leading food exporter Ramsden International.

    The group said the extension of the deal will have the potential to deliver £200m of sales over the five-year duration.

    “Ramsden International is thrilled to extend our relationship with Nisa whose expertise and scale has and will continue to be valuable to us,” Akhtar Zahid, managing director at the Grimsby-based family business, said.

    “Our partnership with Nisa is key to accelerating our global ambitions and gives us the flexibility and levels of service that ensure we continue to deliver the best possible service to our customers.”

    Ramsden International supplies an extensive range of products to more than 650 customers in133 countries. The company said the decision to renew the contract on a five-year deal was driven by Nisa’s strong service levels and wide product range.

    In addition, global export exclusivity for the Co-op own brand product range, that features over 2,400 product lines, is core to the growth ambitions for both partners.

    “Nisa has demonstrated and exceeded expectation throughout our working relationship, through jointly incorporating and developing many bespoke procedures and always being open to review further mutually beneficial service enhancements”, Zahid said.
