Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has launched new posters to help retailers communicate national vaccination policies to their colleagues.

The posters can be used by retailers to encourage colleagues to take up their opportunity to have their flu and Covid-19 vaccinations.

The posters aim to thank staff for continuing to ensure the safety of their colleagues and customers and encourage colleagues to have their flu and Covid-19 jabs. The posters also try to communicate the store’s policy on paying for vaccinations.

Some businesses have decided to pay for flu jabs for colleagues who are not eligible for flu jabs free of charge. ACS has developed a poster that you can download and print to communicate this policy if you choose to adopt it in store.

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “Convenience retailers have worked tirelessly to ensure that they can continue to serve their communities while keeping their staff and customers safe.

“We have developed these posters for local shops to encourage colleagues to take up vaccines when they are offered them, and to make clear if the business is willing to pay for colleagues to have their flu jabs where they are not already eligible for these to be free of charge. Many retailers are taking this step to help protect their colleagues and their business.”
