Nescafé van visits Unitas office for Macmillan’s Coffee Morning

A Nescafé Original van has made a pit stop at the Unitas Wholesale central office in Doncaster yesterday (24 August) to spread awareness for Macmillan’s Coffee Morning.

The visit was part of Nestlé’s nationwide campaign to support the charity’s flagship fundraiser, donating 10p from every jar of Nescafé Original 95g PMP £2.99 sold.

Nestlé have also launched a nationwide roadshow that will see their Nescafé van visiting a total of 19 Unitas Wholesale member depots throughout August and September, encouraging sign ups and boosting donations for Macmillan’s Coffee Morning.

During their visits, the Nescafé team will be giving away cups of Nescafé Original, treats and other goodies in a bid to raise vital funds.

Besides the staff at Unitas central office, the visit by the Nescafé van also provided surrounding businesses the opportunity to donate, sign up for their own coffee morning and also enter a draw for a chance to win a Nescafé Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning roadshows have raised £1,300 for the charity to date, which relies on public donations for nearly all of its funding. The charity urgently needs the public to get involved in Coffee Morning, at a time when disruption caused by Covid-19 means demand for the charity’s services is high, while it’s income is down.

The official Macmillan Coffee Morning date is 24 September, but it can be held at any time. From a group in the garden, sharing a coffee over a screen or a takeaway cake and cuppa, you can hold yours however you like. All you have to do is sign up at macmillan.org.uk/coffee and Macmillan will send you a fundraising kit with top tips to get you started.
