A woman has been charged after she launched an assault on members of staff at a convenience store in St Helens.
Officers later recovered cannabis from Gemma Bridge, of Randon Grove, St Helens as they arrested her from the scene at Bread and Wine Convenience Store on Cooper Street.
The incident, happened at around 7.20pm on 9 August, resulted in one of the staff sustaining facial bruising, St Helens Star reported.
Bridge, 31, has since been charged with two counts of assault and possession of cannabis.
