TOUT’S stores turn pink celebrating local producers

An independent retailer has turned their two stores pink this month to celebrate local producers and support Making A Difference Locally (MADL), Nisa’s charity.

TOUT’S Langford and TOUT’S Nailsea will donate 0.6 per cent of all local product sales in both stores to their MADL fund.

The group, which moved to Nisa as their wholesale supplier last year, recently re-launched as their own brand TOUT’S with a strong focus on local food suppliers.

They are on a mission to provide a million meals to local families in need.

“TOUT’S is a local family-run business with a key brand attribute it truly believes in: Passionate about Food, Local and People,” Zena Tout, brand director, said.

“March sees us celebrating across our two stores to support local food suppliers and to create awareness in our communities at just how local customers can shop when they shop at TOUT’S.

Throughout this month, shoppers can find a pop of pink across both stores as the celebration of local suppliers is highlighted.

“When they come into TOUT’S Langford or TOUT’S Nailsea in March, our customers will see the pop of pink across store and when they purchase local products from TOUT’S they will be contributing to our Making a Difference Locally fund which will go towards TOUT’S community commitment; to donate one million meals to local families in need,” Zena said.

Both TOUT’S stores showcase local suppliers all year round, with these being identified in-store with their pink ‘local’ identifiers, so customers always know when they are supporting a good cause.

“The number of local suppliers coming on board is growing, with currently over 30 suppliers working with us,” Zena added.

“And an interesting discovery along the way is that many of the local suppliers, keen to support other local businesses, use other local ingredients that TOUT’S stock for their products.”
