JJ launches new range of nuts and seeds

JJ Foodservice has launched new range of own-brand nuts and seeds.

Available just in time for the festive season, the range offers great savings for customers, the wholesaler said.

“Our nuts are perfect sharing at Christmas and a timely addition to our Home range,” said Sezer Ozkul, chief product officer.

The range includes fresh walnuts, in shell, from £6.49 for 1.5kg (43p per 100g) – which JJ said is 50 per cent lower in price than major supermarkets.

Monkey nuts start from just 20p per 100g (£2.49 for 1.5kgs) and fresh hazelnuts, in shell, from 44p per 100g (£7.99 for 1.8kg).

Roasted almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts and walnuts are available in smaller packs, starting from just £3.49 for 400g. Roasted and salted sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds start from just £1.99 for 500g.

The range also includes spicy corn, roasted white chickpeas and a nut cocktail mix.

The firm said customers can now pre-order for deliveries up until Christmas Eve.
