    Nisa unveils Halloween promotions

    Nisa has made available a raft of Halloween deals to its retailers.

    The event, which begins in stores today (28 October), will feature a selection of beers, wines and spirits, in addition to deals on sweet and savoury treats.

    Included in the offer is Brew Dog Pale Ale and Hazy Jane 4x330ml at £6.50 each and Coors Light 12x330ml at £9, alongside popular spirits such as Malibu 70cl andJägermeister 50cl, both at just £13 each.

    Products including Walkers Stax crisps 170g, Doritos share bags 150g and Haribo Chamallow marshmallows 140g at just £1 each, Mr Kipling Cake Bars in limited edition Halloween flavours at £1.50 a pack and Co-op Mini Eyeball Cupcakes 9pk at £2 are also on offer.

    Cadbury Goo Head Crème Eggs 40g and Smarties and Milkybar Halloween Monsters 17g at 60p each are the other products included in the event.

    Retailers, on their part, are creating ghoulis displays in-store to drive footfall. .

    “Although we are working through really unprecedented times, we are still eager to bring a smile to our customer’s faces with some spooky in-store Halloween activity throughoutthe month of October. It’s important to help keep the community spirits high,” PGNJ Ltd, who operates nine Nisa Local stores in Glasgow, said in a statement.

    Nisa will support its Halloween campaign with in-store point of sale and a competition on the Nisa Locally website to give shoppers the chance to win one of two sweet hampers.

    Chris Walker, marketing operations manager at Nisa, said: “Ever-changing rules and social distancing measures are likely to change the way people are choosing to celebrate Halloween this year, and with the occasion falling on a Saturday many are likely to stick to a smaller celebration at home in place of heading out to the usualcostume parties.

    “With 56% of shoppers now planning for events nearer the time, offering a broad range of devilish deals ensures all shopper missions are being catered for – especially the impulsive and last-minute purchases.”
