Mail Newspapers has launched a consumer promotion with incentives for retailers.

Retailers could win cash prizes ranging from £10 to £500 by displaying point of sale material to support the publisher’s Golden Wallets promotion.

The promotion offers readers of Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday a chance to win up to £25,000 throughout June.

Retailers can register for the promotion on MyMail website with filling store details and uploading photos of any in-store displays or activity being done to promote the game to customers.

All retailers registering will receive their own virtual Golden Cash Wallet which will be emailed week commencing 29 June.

The publisher has also partnered with NFRN with an exclusive offer of member retailers.

NFRN members registering for the promotion will be automatically entered into the Mail’s Nectar Millionaire competition that will run throughout July.

They will receive special MyMail POS material to promote the loyalty scheme to their Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday customers.

The registrations will close on June 19.

“With cash prizes of up to £500 for registering retailers, exclusive MyMail POS for NFRN members and the chance to win Nectar points, make sure that you don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity – act now,” commented Stuart Reddish, national president of NFRN.

Mail Newspapers senior national account manager Andy Law added: “The Golden Wallet campaign not only offers our readers the opportunity to win ‘cash’ prizes, but also a chance for retailers to maximise their sales of the Mail. Simply display the provided POS material and promote the campaign during the four weeks’ period and, where possible, provide secondary displays in stores.”

“The incentive offers retailers the chance to take part in their own version of the Golden Wallets promotion. This provides an opportunity to win ‘cash’ prizes as well as growing sales throughout the promotional period.”

The registrations will close on 19 June. The promotion is not available in Northern Ireland.
