Heineken UK has announced a new partnership with BRIT Trust which will see Strongbow and Red Stripe become the official cider and beer partners of the UK’s most anticipated music event of the year.
The brewer said the announcement as drinks partners of the 40th show of the BRIT Awards is perfect start to what is looking to be an exciting year for both brands.
“The BRIT Awards is one of the biggest nights for the UK music industry, and we are thrilled to be part of it this year,” commented Michael Gillane, marketing director Heineken UK.
“These awards are a fantastic platform for both brands to communicate their commitment to the UK music scene, and we look forward to what will be a great night for the industry.”
As well as the sponsorship of The BRITs, there will be a new TV campaign for Strongbow featuring a brand new musical collaboration, the company said.
Red Stripe, the original Jamaican lager beer, will also be spreading some much needed Jamaican optimism around the UK in their new campaign this year, it added.
