St Pierre Groupe, whose brand portfolio includes St Pierre, Baker Street and Paul Hollywood, has announced three new appointments to its commercial and category insight team.
Roger Harrison will be the new category and insight manager at the group. Previously business unit controller at SalesOut for more than 10 years, he will set up the company’s new category management function to accelerate business growth through data.
The company has roped in Rachel Wells, a senior national account manager at Princes Limited, as commercial manager for grocery, and she will be supporting the company’s supermarket customers.
Scott Oakes takes over as commercial manager for foodservice, becoming the company’s first full-time team member focussed on the foodservice channel. Previously head of foodservice at AIB Foods Ltd, he brings with him over 10 years’ experience coupled with a strong operations background.
Commenting on the appointments, Jeremy Gilboy, founder of St Pierre Groupe, said: “Whist Roger, Rachel and Scott are joining us at a very difficult and challenging time, it is also an exciting time for St Pierre Groupe, as we continue on a journey of business growth and evolution.
“We have ambitious plans for the future and these appointments will not only be hugely helpful in implementing them, but also in ensuring we continue to supply more households with quality bread and bakery products.”
The Manchester-based group said it has seen demand for its brands increase exponentially over the past two months. The company supplies European bakery products into the UK, Ireland and worldwide export markets via the multiple, convenience and wholesale channels.
