    Bakery business, St Pierre Groupe, has expanded its growing marketing team with two new members joining the team.

    Sam Elmidoro is now the new content, social & community manager and Georgia Dales has become the brand activation manager for the Manchester-based company.

    The international bakery, whose brand portfolio includes St Pierre, Baker Street and Paul Hollywood, has grown its team by 33% since the beginning of lockdown with a total of 18 hires.

    With over fifteen years of experience, Ms Elmidoro previously managed the corporate social media channels for Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in digital content strategy, management, creative output and analysis.

    Ms Dales joins was previously at William Jackson Food Group, where she was brand manager and will now support St Pierre’s marketing team in by driving brand awareness and sales.

    St Pierre Groupe founder, Paul Baker, said: “With ambitious global growth plans, having a nimble approach to business is vital. This includes utilising video technology to continue our large-scale recruitment drive even during the health crisis and as a result, our fantastic team has grown by a third.

    “Investing in talent like Sam and Georgia and having a passionate, dedicated team are two important ingredients for being a successful market leading business at home and abroad.”

    St Pierre Groupe supplies European bakery products into the UK, Ireland and worldwide export markets via the multiple, convenience and wholesale channels.

    In 2019, the bakery achieved a 30% year on year growth, and has seen demand for its brands increase exponentially over the past six months.
