Sanpellegrino, the classic Italian sparkling fruit beverage brand from Nestlé Waters, has announced the launch of an organic sparkling flavoured tea range, Sanpellegrino + Tea. The new range caters to the continued growth of shoppers seeking out a low or no sugar option and trading up to a more premium soft drinks choice.
The range, which includes Limone + Tea and Pesca + Tea, lemon and peach flavours respectively, is available from May. Both are made from organic tea extract, fruit juice and the lightest touch of cane sugar.
With the growth of shoppers purchasing organic and 86.5 percent, according to a Kantar study, saying they have bought organic at least once last year, Sanpellegrino has indeed responded swiftly to the trend with this launch.
Catering to the health-conscious shopper, the + Tea range contains only 50 calories per 250ml can and has no artificial colourings or preservatives. Although a new proposition for the brand, the range still retains its recognisable bubble sensation and delicious Italian fruit juice with consumer testing scoring highly as a great tasting, low calorie, and organic option, said a statement.

The launch is part of a wider brand awareness campaign kicking off this year with digital engagement, experiential and sampling activities and strong in-store merchandising and print advertising planned, the statement added. An exciting range of disruptive POS has also been developed for retailers and wholesalers, to help drive sales in store.
