    RH Amar inks new partnership deal with Dr. Oetker

    Leading fine food brand owner, importer and distributor RH Amar has announced an new partnership with Dr. Oetker Home Baking to offer a range of products to the independent and specialist retail channel.

    RH Amar will offer 61 home-baking lines from across Dr. Oetker’s decorations, ingredients, coverings, and mixes categories. This will include Dr. Oetker baking best-sellers such as ready-to-roll icing, sugar strands and bicarbonate of soda, alongside NPD to support seasonal events and occasions.

    “It is an exciting time to be working with Dr. Oetker to help extend their home-baking brands reach in the UK. By growing distribution through these channels, we can introduce even more UK households to the joy of baking, as well as increasing frequency of purchase among households already buying into the baking range,” said Justin Burbage, Commercial Director, RH Amar.

    John Brassington, Executive Head of Sales for Dr. Oetker, added: “RH Amar has an excellent track record of helping to grow brands in the UK, including through the wholesale and independent retail channels, and we look forward to working together to capitalise on the opportunities which exist for our brand in the UK home-baking category.”

    Dr. Oetker has a heritage dating back 130 years and last year sales of Dr. Oetker grew + 32 per cent, with 12m UK kitchens now containing a Dr. Oetker product.

    RH Amar is one of the UK’s leading importers and distributors of ambient fine food and a pioneer in the food industry since its inception in 1945. Today RH Amar supplies more than 40 fine food brands, including Del Monte, Crespo, Kikkoman, and Ella’s Kitchen, to major supermarkets, cash and carries, wholesale groups, restaurants, and independent retailers.
