Planglow, leading supplier of catering labels, has announced the launch of five branded collections of plant-based compostable packaging and labelling.
The supplier has joined hands with the Scottish Grocers Federation (SGF) to offer its members a one stop plastic-free shop for grab and go and hot takeaway foods.
“At Planglow we seek to increase the sales of our customers to-go products by improving both brand recognition and customer loyalty. We are delighted to have joined the SGF and I look forward to supporting the growth of its members food to go sales through beautifully designed eco packaging and stylish, legally complaint labelling,” said Stephen Ferguson, Planglow’s Scottish account manager.
Planglow introduced its first environmentally friendly food to go packaging range way back in 2011. They also have a a strong presence in food labelling software solutions with the labelling app LabelLogic Live, which can be used to calculate nutritional data as well as to create labels online.
SGF chief executive Pete Cheema commented: “This will undoubtedly be a very innovative an exciting partnership between SGF and Planglow. It will give our members access to cutting edge solutions in labelling and packaging. This will help retailers stay ahead of the game and will be of real benefit to their businesses.”
