Inspired by the continued success of its Limited Edition lines, Pip & Nut is launching a brand new Limited Edition variant this month – Chocolate Orange Almond Butter. This new flavour launches today (June 12) at Ocado, followed by over 500 Sainsbury’s stores and Whole Foods at the end of this month and a range of wholesalers in the coming months.
The new Chocolate Orange Almond variant combines gently roasted almonds, rich cacao and zesty orange extract. As with the existing range, it’s 100% natural, with absolutely no refined sugars or palm oil, said a statement from the company.
“We love to surprise and delight our consumers and to bring a sense of fun into the nut butter category, with our focus on flavour over functionality. Offering a Pip & Nut twist on a classic flavour combination, we believe our new Limited Edition delivers just that and we look forward to its nationwide roll-out thanks to the ongoing support of our retailer partners,” commented Pippa Murray, Founder, Pip & Nut.
The launch follows a host of recent wins for Pip & Nut. It announced in May that it had significantly strengthened distribution in Sainsbury’s and Tesco and secured £1 million in investment to drive brand’s next phase of growth.
Last month, the brand also picked up the the Ones to Watch Award at the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards and was named fourth in 2018 Start Ups 100.
Pip & Nut Chocolate Orange Almond Butter, with an RRP of £3.95, will be available at wholesalers Marigold, CLF, Health Store, Epicurium and Tree of Life from July and at Cress from August.
