Nisa is bringing back its Bank Holiday Deals trade event with a range of competitive offers on treats and drinks.
Previous retailer-facing bank holiday events have typically generated in excess of £1million in sales, Nisa noted in a communication.
This year’s promotion begins on Monday (15 April) and will provide shoppers offers over the Easter and May Bank Holiday periods on a vast range of branded products.
These include deals on popular lines such as Peroni Nastro Azzuro 620ml, Tyskie 500ml and Lech 500ml, all on 2 for £4 (excluding Scotland). Pimm’s 70cl, Pringles 200g, Coca-Cola 1.5 ltr and Jacobs Cracker Crisps will also be available on promotion.
“Our insights suggest that customers embrace the first and last bank holidays of the year the most meaning this is an important promotional opportunity,” said Regan Howard, Nisa’s campaign and media partnerships manager.
“The Easter period holds a particularly fantastic opportunity for increased footfall with two bank holidays falling two weeks apart. We are confident that this event will once again support our retailers, providing them with competitive offers in the hope that it helps to drive sales and profitability over this key trading period.”
