Nisa marks start of summer with picnic promotion

The long-awaited season of sunshine has arrived and to mark the occasion, Nisa is
providing partners with a picnic promotion to help summer sales surge.

Since the start of the year, Nisa has placed an increased focus on value and that will remain
a key priority for the group throughout the summer period with season-specific promotions.

“Alfresco dining becomes a go-to for many during the warmer months and so naturally the
demand for picnic and barbecue products increases. And National Picnic Week (18 th – 26th June) aligning with the official start of summer yesterday is sure to prompt more shoppers to start spending time and eating outdoors,” says Nisa’s wholesale category controller, Emily Fish.

“Research reveals that more than 70 percent of shoppers are already planning what they want to buy to cater for these celebrations and so it is important that we are equipping partners with a wide selection of great value deals to offer their shoppers.”

The event presents everything shoppers could need for an alfresco afternoon in the
sunshine including a wide range of Co-op ready-to-eat lines including Southern Fried
Chicken Bites, Mini Egg Bites, and Bitesize Sausage Rolls on a two for £3.50 multi-buy, and
easy extras like Doritos Chilli Heatwave at £1.50 and Pringles Sour Cream & Onion at £1.65.

And to accompany the array of nibbles, shoppers can feel refreshed with Yellow Tail Jammy
    Rose 75cl for £6.50, Corte Molino Prosecco 75cl for £7.50, and Pimm’s 70cl for £13.50
    saving £4 of the RRP.

Nisa partners have been provided a dedicated point of sale kit which includes bright bunting, hanging signs, and more themed point of sale to draw attention to the shining summer deals available in-store.

The promotion is available from Wednesday 22nd June – Tuesday 19th July.
