New SPAR store opens in Airdrie

Independent retailer Jigneshkumar Chauhan has opened a brand new SPAR store on Stirling Street, in the town of Airdrie in North Lanarkshire

The grand opening on 29 October has seen customers enjoying free samples of SPAR own label products, Smokin’ Bean coffee, Rollover Hot Dogs and Tango Ice Blast. Free goody bags, great offers on a number of essential food and drink items and had the chance to enter a free prize draw with some great prizes including a 24” smart tv and SPAR vouchers.

Previously operated with the Day Today fascia, the store is new to SPAR and hosts a number of in-store services including a Smokin’ Bean coffee offer, Tango Ice Blast, f’real shakes and smoothies, Fwip Ice Cream, Rollover Hot Dogs, Brownings Bakery, ATM, Lottery and PayPoint.

Chauhan said: “I am delighted to be the latest independent retailer to join the successful SPAR family in Scotland. I am so happy with the support I have received since moving to SPAR and I regret not joining sooner! I am very excited about the future.”
