Mondelēz International has unveiled three new launches across its candy and chocolate portfolios for the 2019 Halloween season.

Two of the new products are from the Maynards Bassetts stable, Soft Jellies Scary Safari and Dead Chewy.

Maynards Bassetts Soft Jellies Scary Safari is a ‘bag of bags’ product that contains 17 x 16.7g mini bags, each containing a variety of soft jelly sweets in fun animal shapes. A great-tasting chew product, each 162g bag of Maynards Bassetts Dead Chewy contains individually wrapped chews. Both products come in a variety of fruity flavours.

Mondelēz will also be launching a new Oreo product developed specifically for the Halloween season.

Cadbury Oreoooo is a 256g bag of Oreo Mini Filled Eggs, with spooky Halloween branding. Available in cases of 12, the individually-wrapped products are perfect for sharing and for trick or treating.

Maynards Bassetts Soft Jellies Scary Safari (RRP: £2) and Cadbury Oreoooo (RRP:£4.19) will be available from 5 August, and Maynards Bassetts Dead Chewy (RRP: £1) will hit the shelves on 26 August.

Halloween is the second biggest season for candy after Christmas, with sales over the period reaching £30 million last year, up 4.7 percent year-on-year.
