Mast-Jaegermeister UK names new marketing director

Mast-Jaegermeister UK has appointed Christian Stindt as Marketing Director following an extensive internal and external recruitment process.

Stindt joined Mast-Jägermeister in June 2009 working in the global public affairs team. In 2012, he joined the Regional Management Western Europe team and has since managed a variety of markets across the region, including The Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland. Most recently, he has managed Spain and Italy, two important markets in the Western Europe region.

During his time on the Western Europe team, Stindt demonstrated he is a talented marketeer with a strong commercial focus, growing the volume of Jägermeister in Italy by more than 20 per cent over three years, for example.

In addition to this achievement, Stindt has also shown his ability to connect with consumers through his creative work including the international Raz Degan Manifest campaign, the Yellow Claw Bottle in The Netherlands and the Be The Meister campaign in Spain.

“Managing different markets across Western Europe has been an incredible experience and seeing the Jägermeister brand grow as a result of our passionate teams remains inspiring,” said Stindt.

“The UK is one of the most important markets for Jägermeister. It is a market where trends are born, often influencing the rest of the spirits industry. As the on-trade begins to reopen we are excited to continue to create innovative campaigns such as #savethenight, our Perfekt Serve programme and the much-awaited re-launch of Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee. I am very much looking forward to being part of the UK team and delivering impactful initiatives.”

Mast-Jaegermeister UK Managing Director Michael Cleary commented: “I believe that Christian will bring a new perspective and outlook to our brand strategy here in the UK while at the same time quickly fit in with our UK team.”
