Lovely Drinks launches new product development and bottling service

Independent soft drinks producer Lovely Drinks has announced the launch of a new product development and bottling service in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The diversification will see the Bristol-based business offering their facilities to budding brands for recipe development and small bottling runs.

“Over the years we’ve often been asked for help to develop recipes or do small scale bottling runs. We didn’t really have the time to do it properly. Now seems like the perfect opportunity,” said Rick Freeman, managing director.

“We’ve won 23 Great Taste awards over the years so we really do know how to create delicious drinks. We hope this added service will help us to thrive and grow after the pandemic is over”.

Two companies have already started making use of the new service to develop products, Lovely Drinks said.

    The services on offer include:

    • Pilot runs and small-scale bottling of sparkling and still soft drinks, juices, mixers, cold brew coffee, iced tea, syrups etc
    • Recipe development – helping firms to create, develop and perfect the product
    • Help with sourcing a wide range of high-quality ingredients and packaging
    • Advice on scaling up, such as contract manufacturing options
    • Help with perfecting product labels including nutritional information, barcodes and compliance

A family run business that produces naturally made soft drinks, Lovely Drinks is certified with the Organic Food Federation and Vegan-approved by the Vegetarian Society.
