Kepak is launching a new Goode & Tucker range in response to the growing demand for hot grab-and-go options.
The new range will be unveiled on 8 November at the IGD Food To Go Conference.
Available to convenience and forecourts stores across the UK, the Goode & Tucker range caters for the most important food-to-go occasions, including breakfast, lunch and snacking, said the Irish meat company.
The unique ‘plug and play’ hot convenience unit and product range includes hot food-to-go products including Bacon & Egg Breakfast Muffin, Cheeseburger, Chicken & Pesto Panini and Sweet Potato & Mozzarella Wrap.
The all-in-one solution also includes equipment and marketing collateral for retailers to help them drive footfall, maximise space and reduce the labour cost traditionally associated with food-to-go counters.
“With the sector expected to be worth £22.8bn by 2022 [IGD], operators who are currently working without a grab and go offering could be missing a significant revenue stream. It’s a highly competitive market and the Kepak food-to-go team looks forward to working with retailers to help them compete with high-street foodservice operators, generate additional footfall and increase food spend in their store,” said Bláthnaid Ní Fhátharta, marketing director for foodservice & corporate communications at Kepak.
