Hotel Starlino launches luxury Starlino Maraschino Cherries

Biggar and Leith has announced the launch of new Starlino Maraschino Cherries.

Joining the Hotel Starlino range of vermouths and aperitivos, the cocktail garnish will be available in two sizes: 400g jars and 1kg tins, former targeting off-trade consumers, and the latter to cater to bartenders and chefs.

Made from high-quality, Italian Marasaca Cherries, Starlino Maraschino Cherries mature for 15 days in their natural Marasaca juice, then rest for an additional seven days to reach perfection.

The cherries can also be enjoyed as part of a luxurious desert when poured over ice cream, cheesecake or pastries. The products is all natural, fat free and gluten free, with no GMO’s.

“We believe our hand-crafted product will provide a great alternative to other cherries on the market,” commented Elwyn Gladstone of Biggar and Leith.

“Starlino Maraschino Cherries offer distinct Italian provenance with a modern, leading edge and are a premium garnish to crown great cocktails. Our cherries will transport food and drink enthusiasts to the South of Italy to celebrate La Dolce Vita.”

Available to trade in the UK from Proof Drinks, the product comes with an average shelf price of £10 for 400g and £20 for 1kg.
