HARIBO Smurfs have been relaunched with a new addition, ahead of the fully animated movie ‘Smurfs: The Lost Village’, which will be released at cinemas on 31st March 2017.
Haribo has introduced the villainous Gargamel character, in a sour cherry flavour, to create the first sweet and sour Haribo Smurfs sharing bag. Alongside the new product piece, each bag will contain a selection of Smurf shaped jelly pieces including Grouchy, Brainy and Jokey in strawberry and raspberry flavours, and Smurfette in lemon and raspberry flavours.
Also new for 2017 and adding a new texture to the range is the Haribo Chamallows Smurfs Family. The sharing pack contains a range of recognisable shapes including the Smurfs Mushroom house in vanilla and raspberry flavours.
Alison Satterthwaite, Brand Manager for Haribo Lead Brands comments: “Supported by the excitement generated by a new movie release, as well as a new flavour and product piece, Haribo Smurfs is definitely a must stock treat for retailers and is perfect for consumers to share with friends and family.”
