Over 30 teams, consisting of retailers, suppliers and independents, strapped their football boots up to engage in a bit of healthy competition at Goals Soccer Centre in Leeds.
The annual 5 a-side tournament raised £20k for GroceryAid, which was enough to send over 60 carers on a respite break during the summer.
With colleagues from the grocery industry battling through the stages, eventual winners were Primula Cheese – who defeated Dee Set 2-0 in the final.
The event was sponsored by Kellogg Company and Heineken UK Ltd who helped to ensure there were plenty of prizes available to be won by players and spectators.
The popular £5 draw, sponsored by Coca-Cola European Partners, saw one lucky winner secure two tickets to watch England v Slovakia in the World Cup Qualifier at Wembley Stadium.
