Independent drinks company Global Brands has expanded its range of value canned cocktails Flare by adding a new Passion Fruit Martini flavour.

The new product innovation has also seen the firm redesign cans throughout the range, which is available exclusively in the independent retail sector.

“In cocktail terms, passion fruit really is the on-trend flavour, and is the number one on-trade cocktail serve according to CGA. The new Passion Fruit Martini flavour will enable retailers to drive further RTS cocktail growth in stores,” said Christian Sarginson, brand controller at Global Brands.

In fitting with the rest of the Flare range, Mojito, Cosmo and On The Beach, the new cocktail also has a 4% ABV and is packaged in a PMP 250ml can.

Packaging throughout the range has been redesigned to feature bright and vibrant colours. These reflect the fruit flavourings and juices of each cocktail, while the name of the cocktails feature more prominently on the cans.

“The colourful new can designs will really stand-out in retailers’ fridges, while the larger, bolder fonts make it easier for consumers to find popular cocktail flavours they’re familiar with, helping to drive sales,” Sarginson added.

RSPs for the drinks are £1.29 each.
