General Mills appoints new NEC Supply Chain Director

General Mills announced Victoria Cobos has joined the company as NEC Supply Chain Director, leading its operations across Northern Europe, from 2nd November.

Predecessor Emily Thom heads over to the company’s Planning and Logistics division to lead the team as Planning and Logistics Director for EUAU.

With extensive experience in managing end-to-end Operations, Innovation and Transformation Programs in the CPG industry, Miss Cobos previously championed robust supply chain improvements across several geographies at Unilever and, more recently, crafted the Brexit readiness strategy for Nomad Foods.

Skilled in operating VUCA environments and proactive risk management, Victoria has a proven track record in establishing supply chains as a source of competitive advantage and in her free time shares expert advice on Supply Chain Strategy and sustainable business models to upcoming ventures as part of the grIP network in the US.

Ben Pearman, Managing Director, General Mills Northern Europe, said: “General Mills’ mission has always been to ensure our supply chain is sustainable and agile to provide the best possible service to our customers. Victoria’s extensive experience will help us continue to improve our processes and respond to a rapidly changing market, especially in the face of current economic uncertainty and the implementation of Brexit.”
