Multiple Marketing is relaunching its popular FunTime flavoured milk brand.
The FMCG company behind Sunmagic Juices and Eat Natural bars aims to capitalise on the ‘Drink Now’ flavoured milk sector, which is growing at 13 percent year-on-year.
Justin Thomas, FunTime brand manager, said: “The FunTime brand is currently growing at a phenomenal 26 percent year-on-year, with sales of the brand now worth £3.1 million. However, with the Drink Now sector showing by far the most growth within the Milkshake category, we felt there was more FunTime could do to target this sector.”
The FunTime 500ml bottles have been redesigned with a more modern look, to appeal to young adults looking for an alternative to carbonated soft drinks. The design provides better standout on shelf and features a new contemporary FunTime logo. Each variant features a fun background design, reinforcing the flavour profile and taste appeal.
The packs carry claims including ‘virtually fat free’, ‘source of calcium’ and ‘no added flavours or preservatives’, as well as containing around 118kcal per 250ml serving.
Multiple Marketing has also relaunched its 200ml FunTime cartons targeted towards children. It now features the new FunTime logo as well as fun cartoon-style images of an ‘active cow’ which creates a link to health. The new-look packs carry the ‘Virtually fat free’ and ‘A source of calcium’ statements, and the fact that they are School Compliant,adhering to governmental guidelines about what kids’ drinks can contain.
Both the 500ml bottles and 200ml cartons are available throughout the UK off-trade with RRPs of around 69p and 39p, all of which are available from this month in three flavours: Banana, Chocolate and Strawberry.
